New art this week brings diversity to Drinkle Building wall

"There's so much untapped creativity in the city that can make things beautiful — we just have to creatively enable the creators."

In August 2022, FAM artists installed works alongside Sherbrook Creative Arts, a Ukrainian war victim, and others. FAM was included in this project through the collaboration of FAM artist mentor, Alana Moore, and Drinkle Mall owner, Dave Denny.

Art panels submitted by Jada Morin, Sunny Thomas, Ailah Carpenter, Karden Windigo, Noah Roy, Brooklyn Carriere, Charli Brechin & Alana Moore.

Street art is for everyone but has been dominated by a lot of white men. It was important to me to center the art of Indigenous, queer and trans youth, as well as seniors living in long term care.
