About the design: As an artist who uses many mediums, I sometimes love work I just can’t let go of. I originally sketched and carved Earth & Her Stars into a Linocut. I’ve hand printed physical pieces in the past, but as a student, I can only use our printmaking studio for so long. So I re-rendered her digitally, staying true to my original carving. I intended for her image to focus on femininity and self-love because we should celebrate how women connect to the natural world.
