TASTE MY RAGE

$15.00

Design: Ailah Carpenter (she/they/he)

Digital print on cardstock from Mister Print in Saskatoon. 8 x 8”

Original art was digitally made using Procreate.

About the design: Ideas, like people, won’t always receive recognition until long after their defining characteristics bloom - life is weird like that sometimes. Taste My Rage is something I pulled from the sketch archives years later. Interestingly, it’s a sketch from the prompt, “Draw the inside of your mouth without using a mirror.” So, that’s what we did because why not make the most of a weird source of inspiration? What came of it felt like an intense form lacking balance from within. I thought it wanted to speak for itself. Maybe it’s from years of feeling forgotten in my portfolio, or perhaps I believe that injustices are best addressed with raw passion- so I added the text, Taste My Rage.

You can find their most recent works on Instagram @luceniart
